On Wednesday 19th April, Victoria Beckham received an OBE from none other than the Duke of Cambridge himself - while retired heptathlete Jessica-Ennis Hill was also bestowed with a CBE from the prince on the special day.
Jessica Ennis-Hill, who announced she was retiring from sports in
2016, was also honoured with a Damehood at the royal ceremony on the
19th April, with her husband Andy Hill in tow.
And whilst at the
prestigious event, the former sports star debuted her tiny baby bump,
after announcing that she and Andy were expecting in March.
She donned a glamorous all-white outfit for the day, teaming her white print dress with matching blazer and fascinator.
was given at CBE from the Duke of Cambridge for her services to
athletics, which was initially announced in the 2017 New Year's Honours
List. She took to social media following the exciting afternoon,
declaring, "Just your average Wednesday...(crazy face emoji) what a
Victoria Beckham, former Spice Girl, rocked up to Buckingham Palace with members of her family in tow - including David, dad Tony, and mum Jackie Adams - to accept the honour.
Victoria received the award for services to fashion, a tribute to the hard work that has gone into developing her successful high-end lines, which have seen her become one of the most renowned designers in the world.
She donned a floor-length dress in her signature black, finishing the look with a pair of burgundy heels, to attend the event.
After receiving the award, the star said, "It was an absolute pleasure to be at Buckingham Palace today. I'm proud to be British, honoured and humbled to receive my OBE from the Duke of Cambridge.
"If you dream big and work hard you can accomplish great things.
"I'm so happy to share this very special occasion with my parents and husband; without their love and support, none of this would be possible."
Apparently Victoria knew before Christmas that she'd be receiving the OBE, and told her family while they were on holiday in the Maldives.
While her kids weren't at Buckingham Palace with her to celebrate, her 14-year-old son Romeo posted a sweet message to social media, saying,
"Mum, I love u so much and hope you have the best day ever!! You are the most amazing mum and you are perfect in every way. I love how you make me laugh every day and whatever happens you always seem to be happy. I love you to the moon and back xx have the best day ever!"
And of course, she's not the first Beckham to receive the highest honour from the Queen. Her husband David received one back in 2004 for his services to football.
It's been quite a week for the singer-turned-fashionista. She celebrated her 43rd birthday on Monday 17th April, and her daughter Harper sang an adorable rendition of the 'Happy Birthday' song on Instagram to celebrate.
