It's been said that, Sophie Wessex has, "very big shoes to fill," as she climbs the Royal Family ranks. However, if this altercation is anything to go by, this Countess isn't easily ruffled.
Bagshot Park's famous resident and her husband Prince Edward are on an official royal tour of the Caribbean, as Lady Louise’s life-altering decision remains unclear. During a visit to the botanical gardens in the island nation of St Vincent and the Grenadines she met their national bird, the Amazona guildingii. However, the meeting didn't go quite to plan.
As the Countess walked into the aviary, she hadn't spotted the bird perched on top of a cage behind her. The Earl of Wessex, who also didn't initially see the feathered beast, was standing close behind her when the bird swooped down.

Quick thinking Sophie ducked, but not quite low enough as the bird knocked her sunglasses off her head and onto her face. The royal managed to laugh it off and acted cool as a cucumber throughout the whole experience.
Fans couldn't believe how chilled she was over it all with one Twitter user commenting, "She is so gracious. The way she acted was so regal. I would have screamed and started chanting in prayers. LMAO."
Another added, "The Countess is just gorgeous. Always classy and professional even when faced with a frenzied bird."
Although this moment appears to have gained plenty of praise, their royal tour of the Caribbean has already been dubbed 'tone-deaf,' considering the horrific history of colonialism between the British monarchy and the region. Their trip comes only months after the Cambridges' royal tour of the region was heavily criticized.
