Pippa Middleton, sister to the Duchess of Cambridge, has revealed her daughter's name, and it has a sweet royal connection.
- Pippa gave birth earlier this month and has now allegedly named her new daughter Rose.
- Pippa already has two children - Arthur, who is three and Grace, one.
- In other royal news, Prince William pauses family holiday for important message of support.
Pippa Middleton gave birth earlier this month and the Cambridge children welcomed a new cousin - now she's revealed her baby's name - and we love how it has a royal connection.
The socialite, who is married to James Matthews, has supposedly named her daughter Rose - and fans are excited that she choose a name with such a strong tie to the royal family.
Pippa, who debuted new hair and wore a casual green maxi dress at Queen's Platinum Party, is reported to allegedly have chosen Rose for her new daughter as it has long been associated with the monarchy.
Since the fifteenth century, the rose has been associated with the Stuart royal symbol - the first kings of the United Kingdom. While another royal connection comes from Henry VII, when he named the Tudor rose as England’s emblem of peace at the end of the War of the Roses.
Associated with the Latin name Rosa, the name is also meant to mean 'famous type' - and with her aunty being Kate Middleton she's bound to get some attention.
Pippa, who gave birth to her second baby in March last year, is now a mother of three - Arthur, three and Grace, one - as well as her new daughter Rose.
The 38-year-old delivered newborn Rose at the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital in London, which is the same maternity ward she gave birth to her two first children, Arthur, 3, and one-year-old Grace. Prince William and Kate Middleton also had their three children at the luxurious Paddington clinic.
The baby naming news comes shortly after it was revealed that Pippa and James have bought a £15m stately home in Berkshire, just a 20-minute journey from the Middletons' family home of Bucklebury Manor. The Georgian mansion, which sits on 150 acres of land has 30 rooms and was bought privately by the affluent couple after a multimillion pound restoration project.
