Over the weekend, all eyes were on the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, but now, it's time to see which television series will be taking home the coveted golden statue.
The Primetime Emmys 2021 will bring some of our favorite stars back to the red carpet. After a year-long hiatus, the award ceremony is ditching the video format, and will officially go back in person. While the Creative Arts Emmy Awards celebrates outstanding artistic and technical achievements, the Primetime ceremony will honor and recognize celebrities in various areas of television and emerging media.

What day is the Emmys 2021?
The Primetime Emmys 2021 will be happening Sunday, September 19 at 8 pm ET. Unlike previous years, this year's ceremony will take place outside with "a limited audience of nominees and their guests," according to a press release.
Who was nominated for the Primetime Emmys 2021?
The nominees for Emmy awards were announced on Tuesday, July 13. Ahead of the big day, the Emmys put out the full list of nominees—including those for the Creative Arts. Some of the most-anticipated nominees include Mare of Easttown, WandaVision, and The Queen's Gambit.
If the Creative Arts Emmys predict anything, then The Queen's Gambit may be expected to sweep the competition. Over the weekend, the limited series dominated the award show taking home nine Emmys.
Where to watch the Emmys 2021
Television fans will be able to stream the award show on Paramount+ (with a subscription) or on their local CBS channel.
Make sure to check with your cable network to determine which channel CBS is on. For those without a cable subscription, other streaming options also include Hulu Live TV and YouTube TV.
Who is hosting the Emmys 2021?
In the past, talk show legend Jimmy Kimmel has taken to the stage to host the Emmys. This year though, the award ceremony is switching things up, including the channel it's typically home to.
Rather than use ABC, the Emmys are now home to CBS where comedian Cedric the Entertainer will be taking us through the night's events.
