Christine Lampard leads the Loose Women ladies as they return to the show after weeks off air

Loose Women is returning to ITV today after three weeks off air, as the panellists broadcast live from their living rooms.

The popular live show was cancelled amid the oubtreak of coronavirus back in March in order to reduce and protect the numbers of staff needed to keep the news programmes, such as Good Morning Britain, running.

Christine Lampard, Nadia Sawalah, Stacey Solomon and Brenda Edwards will make up the panel as they prepare to bring viewers a Loose Women NHS Day special.

Revealing the exciting news on Twitter, Christine Lampard said, "This Thursday your lunchtime is about to get Loose again. We're back from our living rooms!"

But, with schools closed, the nation in lockdown and following social distancing restrictions, Stacey apologised in advance for any interruptions from her three children.

"Apologies in advance if you hear any pickles or see a dog jumping around the sofa," she joked.

Nadia added, "Ohhh, we've got so much to catch up on and we're going to get stuck into some juicy debates."

And Brenda explained the reason behind the special broadcast."And we're going to be saying some extra special thank yous and personal thank yous to the wonderful NHS," she said.

Mum-of-two Nadia has made no secret of how much she's struggling in quarantine, so it's no surprise she's feeling "emotional" at the prospect of reuniting with her Loose Women co-stars.

Just last week Nadia revealed her two daughters - Kiki and Maddy - are helping her through these uncertain times as she described them as her "spark of joy" in a sweet Instagram post.

"My #sparkofjoy my girls… a tangle of teens, so blessed," she wrote. "They spent hours like this today… giggling, chatting and hanging out."

With Nadia having home-schooled her two daughters for five years, she and husband Mark Adderley have been sharing their tips about making the most of the current situation.

"If you’re working from home, start early and let the kids sleep in. Teenagers study better after they’ve had more sleep," she said. "I'd also advise parents not to get bogged down with the idea that school has to start at 8am and finish at 3pm," she told us. "Forget the constraints of the clock. You need to be flexible. When Kiki told me she needed a bit more sleep, I said, 'Sure,’ and we started work later."

Loose Women, an NHS special, airs on ITV this Thursday at 12.30pm.
