Kelly Clarkson has opened up in a candid discussion with Gwyneth Paltrow, revealing she “can’t even imagine” getting married again amidst divorce from her husband Brandon Blackstock.
The Stronger singer announced the sad news last year that she and Brandon, the son of her former manager Narvel Blackstock, were divorcing. The couple married in October 2013 and are both devoted parents to their daughter River (6) and son Remington (4). During this difficult time, Kelly has even received advice from Dr. Jill Biden on how to get through a divorce, when she gave her first sit-down TV interview as First Lady of the United States.
Now Kelly has shared her thoughts on the possibility of getting married again as she interviewed another high-profile guest on her popular daytime talk show.
Is Kelly Clarkson looking to get married again?
American Idol winner Kelly welcomed Gwyneth Paltrow to her show on March 24 and discussed the actor’s second marriage to TV producer Brad Falchuk. Gwyneth was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, with whom she shares her two children, Apple and Moses.

"You've been married for two years," Kelly began. "Coming from someone who's literally amidst a divorce, I can't even imagine doing it again.”
She went on to express her happiness that Gwyneth had found love once more with Brad, saying: “So that's amazing that you found love, and you found the space and the vulnerability—that level to say yes, and do it again. Was that hard for you?"

The Oscar-winning actor responded, "Probably the hardest thing I've ever done, and probably allowing myself to learn the lessons that I needed to learn from my divorce and then being able to really kind of do that work on myself and then open myself up again."
"You will have it again, Kelly. It just takes time,” Gwyneth added, lending her support to Kelly at this challenging time.
Kelly seemed to really empathize with Gwyneth’s comment about taking time to work on herself, making it clear that she is ready to embrace having more ‘me-time’.
"I'm actually in that place where I think a lot of people, I've heard, that go through divorce, it's almost like you start dating yourself again, like you actually make time for you again, and I love dating me," Kelly revealed, explaining that when it comes to marrying again, "I'm actually not looking for it."

However, despite this, Kelly also admitted that seeing Gwyneth find love for a second time after divorce has inspired hope for her and other people going through the process.
"It's also a beautiful thing for a lot of people like me that are going through divorce that do want that in the future, to know that it can and will probably happen for you,” she powerfully declared.
