Dynasty and All My Children actor Michael Nader has died aged 76. The actor is remembered fondly for his role as Dex Dexter on the legendary show Dynasty.
Michael's passing comes only weeks after that of another soap opera legend, Jay Pickett remembered on General Hospital, devastated fans.
The sad news was confirmed by his manager Richard Schwartz who told USA Today (opens in new tab) that Michael died in his Northern California home on August 23 after a battle with an untreatable form of cancer.
The actor passed with his wife of 18 years Jodi Lister and their rescue dog Storm by his side. He's survived by his stepmother Lillian, sister Stephanie, daughter Lindsay, ex-wife Robin, son-in-law Trevor, and granddaughter Juniper.

Jodi shared a statement with Michael Fairman TV (opens in new tab), discussing her loss. "With heavy heart, I’m sharing the news of the passing of my beloved, Michael. We had 18 wonderful years together with the many dogs we fostered and adopted," she said.
Michael's loving, proud wife added, "Recently, Michael was so thrilled to reconnect with his friends from the cast of Dynasty during Emma Samms virtual event to help raise funds for Long-Covid research. Michael was working on a book about his life and addiction at the time of his death."
Heartbreakingly she ended the statement by saying, "He was a beautiful and fascinating man with many talents and skills. I will miss him forever."
The actor starred opposite Joan Collins' character Alexis Colby, as her third husband Dex, in Dynasty from 1983 to 1989. Joan paid tribute to her former co-star in an emotional Instagram post, which shows an image of the pair in character.
