Meet Sophia Money-Coutts

Sophia has worked on the Evening Standard features desk, The National, in Abu Dhabi, The Daily Mail and Tatler. In that time she has written about everything from the maple syrup diet to accidentally traveling to Amsterdam on her brother’s passport, whether your shampoo is making you fat and how posh your wellington boots are. So, it’s fair to say that her books are always going to be fun!

Her latest book, The Wish List follows on from the success of her first two novels, with a typically hilarious, emotional and downright relatable read. Florence Fairfax adores her job in a little bookshop and spending the evening with her cat Marmalade, but whilst she is perfectly content being single, love coach Gwendolyn has other ideas. Getting her to write a wish list for her perfect man, Florence knows her requirements can’t all be fulfilled. And then, only a week later, handsome Rory walks into the bookshop. But is he simply too good to be true?

As well as chatting about The Wish List, Sophia and Zoe will be discussing:

• What makes a book funny

• Where Sophia gets her inspiration

• Her own wish list!

It’s safe to say, woman&home’s Books Editor, Zoe West has read a LOT of books.

As an avid young bookworm obsessed with the adventures of The Magic Faraway Tree and the misadventures of red-haired orphan, Anne Shirley, Zoe never lost her love of reading - and the fact she now gets to do it as her job is a constant source of wonderment for her.

When Zoe isn't reading she is interviewing authors, hosting live events where she gets all the gossip, and seeking out exciting new writers she can’t wait to tell her readers about.
