Ahead of the upcoming release of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens, we've rounded up all the best gifts available.
With the release of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Force Awakens looming closely ahead we’ve found all the best gifts for you to give the Star Wars fan in your life. Whether they would like a Lightsable (absolutely essential), a set of kitchen knives, or even a Death Star waffle maker, we’ve got you covered.
The highly anticipated new film will be released in cinemas across the UK on the 17th December and is expected to break box office world records.
Starring Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Lupita Nyong’o, and Andy Serkis (Gollum from Lord Of The Rings), the new film is set 30 years after the return of Jedi. Hans Solo, who is played by Harrison Ford once again faces threat from the evil villain Kylo Ren and his army of Stormtroopers.
We’re excited to see the Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o in the film, who plays the alien Maz Kanata. After scooping an Oscar for her role in 12 Years A Slave, we’ll be interested to see her performance in this sci-fi blockbuster.
Directed by J.J. Abrams – the co-creator of Lost, who also brought films such as Mission: Impossible III and Star Trek Into Darkness to our screens, he should be well qualified to take the lead in the epic new Star Wars saga. The film is rumoured to be full of unexpected twists and turns, but we’ll have to sit tight and wait until the release date to uncover the full plot.
