The V&A is bringing together an exceptional collection of glamorous, extravagant wedding outfits in their fabulous new exhibition, Wedding Dresses 1775-2014
Are you ready to be wowed by some of the most glamorous dresses you’ll ever see? Because that’s exactly what will happen if you visit the V&A’s new exhibition, Wedding Dresses 1775-2014, which opens on Satuday 3 May. The exhibition, which traces the history of the wedding dress and its interpretation by some of the world’s best designers, brings together more than 80 head-turning wedding outfits, from the exquisitely understated silk coat worn by the Duchess of Cornwall for the blessing after her marriage to the Prince of Wales to the rather flashier purple gown chosen by Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese for her wedding to Marylin Manson.
