The Duchess of Cornwall looks stunning in a blue gown for a Vogue photoshoot in honor of her 75th birthday.
Rather than being styled by the Vogue team, Duchess Camilla wanted to choose an outfit from her own wardrobe and be styled by her own personal stylist Jacqui Meakin. Much like with Kate Middleton's dresses, Duchess Camilla has a vast collection of eye-catching gowns.
But when she was asked whether she might have something that matches the Wisteria in the garden, it was a flat "no" from the Duchess.
As the article in Vogue, explains, "the Vogue team happened upon a wisteria and asked the Duchess’s staff whether HRH might have anything in her wardrobe in the same colour. This was an absolute no go. The Duchess has a dedicated phrase for her dread colour: Menopausal mauve.”
itvnewsroyals reposted the picture in question, which graced the pages of Vogue magazine.
The picture was captioned, "New photograph released by @voguemagazine of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall as she granted an audience to the magazine for her 75th birthday.

"Camilla, the future Queen Consort. spoke about the bad media coverage she received in the 1990s: 'It’s not easy. I was scrutinised for such a long time that you just have to find a way to live with it. Nobody likes to be looked at all the time and, you know, criticised… But I think in the end, I sort of rise above it and get on with it. You’ve got to get on with life.'"
