The Queen might be thousands of miles from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but that doesn't mean the couple isn't near her in spirit.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship with Her Majesty came under scrutiny after they announced they were stepping down as senior royals in 2020, with many insiders claiming that the British monarch had objected to the high-profile withdrawal.
However, recent developments have suggested that the dynamic between the couple and the Queen has warmed greatly, especially in the wake of the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter. The Duke and Duchess named their second baby Lilibet, in honor of Her Majesty's childhood moniker, and it's reported that the sweet nod has helped to solidify rapport with her. It's even predicted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be welcomed by the Queen at Windsor Castle in the coming months, so she can finally be introduced to her great-granddaughter in person.
In the meantime, it looks like Her Majesty will have to make do with some visual reminders of her stateside family.
A recent meeting between Her Majesty and Prime Minister Boris Johnson at Buckingham Palace gave royal fans a glimpse into the Head of State's private audience room, which has been adorned with touching tributes to her famous clan.
The Queen's engagement with the Conservative politician marked their first offline encounter since the pandemic began in March 2020, meaning the public could finally get an updated view of the iconic quarters.

Sitting on a wooden table close to the entrance is a framed portrait of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, likely snapped at the beginning of their relationship. Despite appearing fuzzy on camera, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can be seen affectionately angled towards each other and looking directly at the lens. The couple is also color-coordinated, with Harry in his signature dark blue suit and Meghan wearing a celeste dress.

On an adjacent table, a photograph of Prince William and Kate Middleton can also be identified. The throwback shot was captured a whopping 10 years ago when the college sweethearts first announced their engagement, reminding visitors to the room of their enduring relationship. The Duke of Cambridge is pictured wearing a navy suit, while the Duchess is styled in a long-sleeved, white dress. The loved-up couple, who had been dating for almost a decade by this point, is holding each other gently while also smiling at the camera.
