Fans of The Crown will be familiar with the dramatized account of the eight-year-long affair that Princess Margaret had with Sir Roddy Llewellyn. Royal experts have claimed that Princess Margaret and the Queen were not at 'loggerheads' despite their depiction in The Crown—which may be further evidenced by this permission from the Queen.
The Daily Mail reports that Roddy, a retired landscape gardener, was granted special permission to visit the final resting place of his former lover and close friend Princess Margaret. The visit is reported to have happened on the 20th anniversary of her death on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Roddy paid his respects to the Princess at her tomb in the King George IV Memorial Chapel in Windsor Castle. As she was cremated, following her death aged-71, her ashes were placed in the tomb next to her parents George VI and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

After two years of having absolutely nothing in my diary, I had two crucial dates — to go to St George's and to be at John's funeral."
