She then reflected on her personal memories with her grandfather. "I remember learning how to cook, how to paint, what to read. I remember laughing at your jokes and asking about your spectacular life and service in the navy. She then concluded her post with how she will remember her grandfather. "I will remember you in your children, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren."
She then ended the letter by promising to look after his wife, the Queen."Thank you for your dedication and love for us all and especially Granny, who we will look after for you. With all my love, Eugenie," she said.

Princess Eugenie isn't the first member of the Royal family to pay tribute to Prince Phillip. Princess Anne also released a heartfelt tribute to her father Prince Philip and his inspirational legacy on Instagram. Prince William and Kate also made a lovely post about the late Duke.
Prince William's father, Prince Charles also made a heartfelt speech about his 'dear papa' following the Duke of Edinburgh's death. Similarly, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle paid tribute to the late Duke on their business website Archwell.
It has been confirmed that the Duke of Edinburgh's funeral will take place on the 17th April 2021 and due to COVID-19 restrictions in the UK, only 30 members of the Royal family will be allowed to attend this event. It was also confirmed that Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, will not be attending Prince Phillip's funeral.
Prince Harry's wife, the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, will not be attending the Prince's funeral. Prince Harry was spotted recently arriving in England alone ahead of his grandfather's funeral.
Prince Harry is currently staying with Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank at their home Frogmore Cottage. It is thought that Harry has now also met the couple's young son August, who was named after Prince Philip.
