Prince Harry impressed royal fans during a recent interview about Archie and Lilibet, after making a special accommodation for his unlikely hosts.

Prince Harry made a sweet gesture for two child reporters at the Invictus Games 2022 in the Netherlands, prompting some royal fans to compare the expat royal to his late mother, Princess Diana.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at The Hague on Friday to attend the international sporting competition, which sees 500 wounded soldiers participate in a variety of adaptive sports, from April 16 to 22.

The inspiring event, which was launched by former army man Harry in 2014, marks the royal couple's first joint trip to Europe since their emigration to North America in January 2020. They also visited Windsor Castle on Thursday to meet the Queen, whom Meghan has not seen in person in over two years, before heading down to the Netherlands.

It's understood that the Sussexes flew first-class on commercial flights to both of their destinations, after previously receiving criticism for using private jets to travel across the US. Harry and Meghan were also refused the royal privilege of palace accommodation in the Netherlands and are reportedly staying in a luxurious hotel instead.

On Sunday, Prince Harry gave an exclusive interview to 11-year-old Sophia and 12-year-old Jay from De Kindercorrespondent, a new Netherlands-based digital outlet focused on young people.

The 37-year-old, who has been highly critical of the media in the past, appeared more than happy to answer the junior journalists' questions—so much so, that he even knelt down to be on their level.

The sweet gesture earned the Duke plenty of kudos online, prompting some royal fans to liken him to the late Princess Diana.

"He is so much his mother’s son and his natural ease around children is so lovely," one person tweeted.

"Our Prince Harry embodying the very essence of his Mother," another impressed fan wrote.

When asked to share his wish for his own children, Archie, 2, and 10-month-old Lilibet, he replied, "To grow up in a better world."

"To grow up in a fairer world, a safer world, a more equal world. It's not going to be easy, but I will never, ever, ever rest, until I, as a parent, at least try to make the world a better place for them because it is our responsibility that the world is the way that it is now."

"And I don't think that we should be bringing children into the world, unless we are going to make that commitment to make it better for them."

Harry concluded the interview by insisting, "We cannot steal your future", and giving the adorable reporters a friendly hug.
