Kate Middleton's khaki trench coat and matching heels wow crowds as royal sports her go-to earrings during chilly day out. The stunning long line coat suits nearly every body type, in a dark military shade that screams autumn chic.

It turns out that Princess Anne's khaki coat may have some competition as Kate Middleton's khaki trench coat from the beloved retailer Hobbs sends fashion fans running to the high street.

The Princess of Wales' visit to Colham Manor Children's Center was in order to bring attention to and celebrate the potentially life-changing impact that providing families, impacted by perinatal mental health issues, with an integrated, multi-disciplinary system of holistic care can have.

This piece may not have a belt like Kate Middleton's khaki trench coat, but some may prefer this slightly androgenous style. However, if you'd like to synch it in at the waist - a brown leather belt is a classic option to accessorize it with.

Although fans will be delighted to learn that Kate Middleton's khaki trench coat is a high street purchase from Hobbs - sadly the piece in question, the Lori Wool Cashmere Belted Coat (opens in new tab), is currently out of stock. Although this particular piece appears to be new, her accessories aren't and it seems that the jewelry that adorns the Princess' ears is from one of her favorite designers, Kiki McDonagh. It's been a very busy month already for the hardworking royal, who's hit the ground running as the first Princess of Wales since the late Princess Diana. A long period of time may have passed, but it seems that she intends to fill the role in the same manner that her late mother-in-law did. Just like Diana, she's committing herself to charity work and, as Kate Middleton's khaki trench coat and all-around stylish look shows, being a style icon too.
