On Saturday, November 12, 2022, the Royal Family gathered as the Queen was honored with moving tribute at the Festival of Remembrance. The Festival was an opportunity for the monarch and senior royals to pay tribute to the soldiers who have died while serving in the Armed Forces.
While attending this event, the Princess of Wales, wore a dress she had previously worn in a different color. To match the somber tone of the event, the Princess wore a black suit-style gown from the brand Self Portrait. The dress is a jacket style on the top half and a midi-length skirt in the bottom half, creating a look that is both masculine and feminine and perfectly stylish.

This midi wrap dress is cut from tailored crepe, chiffon and fine lace. Designed with a long-sleeve bodice that is fitted at the waist and falls to and pleated midi skirt. This style is lined with a self-fabric belt and pockets.
The Princess was previously photographed in an off-white version of this Self Portrait dress. In September 2021, Kate Middleton stunned in a chiffon Self-Portrait dress during a very personal event, as she launched her Lockdown photography book titled Hold Still.
It seems that this style is one of Catherine's favorites and when it comes to Kate Middleton's dresses, if the Princess likes a look she will buy it in multiple colors so it can be worn at a variety of royal engagements.

Catherine also wore a choker that has previously been worn by the late Queen. The pearl choker featured three strings of pearls that were held together with diamond encrusted clasp at the front of the necklace.
This stunning piece has also previously been worn by the former Princess of Wales, Lady Diana Spencer and this style of choker was commonly worn by the late Princess. This added another layer of significance to the piece worn by the Princess to the event, as she subtly paid tribute to two members of the Royal Family who have passed.
