Duchess Meghan Markle has been spotted out in Canada. The Duchess headed back to Canada last week after the Sussexes announced their shocking news.

Duchess Meghan has been spotted out in Canada after heading back there last week following her and Prince Harry’s shock announcement.

Just a week ago, the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry announced that they would be taking a ‘step back’ as senior members of the Royal Family.

Following their shock statement, where they revealed that they plan to ‘balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages,’ Duchess Meghan headed back to Canada to join the couple’s baby son Archie, while Prince Harry remained here in the UK to discuss with the rest of the royals how the family plan to move forward.

And now the Duchess has been spotted out for the first time since headed back over to Canada.

Revealing that she was in Canadian city Vancouver, Duchess Meghan made a surprise visit to a women’s charity.

The Duchess visited the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, an organisation that provides basic needs and positive change for women and children in the area.

Posting on their Facebook page, the centre shares a snap of Duchess Meghan with a group of women from the organisation, writing, 'Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community. 💜'.

Fans have been loving the adorable post, praising the Duchess for ‘dressing like everyone else’ and ‘caring about women all over the world’.

She looks happy and relaxed, doing what she does best,’ wrote one while another added, ‘Wonderful to see her stepping into purposeful and meaningful projects so quickly!’.

One fan commented, ‘No bling in sight. I bet her mother-in-law would have been happy to see this. Raising awareness where it is needed is always a good thing’.
