Duchess Catherine paused her royal tour with Prince William to hand write a personal message on a TFL board at Euston station in London.

What did Duchess Catherine's handwritten note say?

Kate wrote: "Thank you to all transport workers everywhere for keeping the country moving throughout this difficult year.

"Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!"

Both Catherine and William then signed off the message with their names.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off their three-day festive Royal Train Tour on Sunday night.

They surprised commuters at London's Euston station with a performance from 80s pop star, Shakin’ Stevens.

The couple dropped a major hint that Merry Christmas Everyone is their favourite festive bop by inviting the pop star along to raise Christmas spirits as part of their Royal Train Tour - the first tour of its kind since the global pandemic began.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are using Her Majesty’s Royal Train to make the 1,250-mile trip across Scotland, England and Wales to shine a spotlight on those who have gone “above and beyond” during these testing times.
