Strictly Come Dancing 2021 winner Rose Ayling-Ellis has shared a heart-warming post honouring all those who supported her throughout her dancing journey and fans are seriously inspired by her brilliant performance.
Ever since Strictly Come Dancing started, many fans at home have counted Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice as one of their favourite Strictly 2021 couples. And watching their Strictly 2021 final performance it’s not hard to see why! Their three dances for the grand final included a breath-taking Showdance, the Strictly 2021 judges’ choice of their fun Frozen-themed Quickstep and also gave viewers a second chance to see their magnificent Couple’s Choice dance. This beautiful dance paid tribute to the deaf community and Rose and Giovanni received a huge accolade for this earlier in the series.
After months of hard work, Rose was crowned Strictly Come Dancing 2021 winner on December 18th, beating Great British Bake Off star John Whaite. Now Rose has taken to Instagram to share a deeply personal message of thanks to not just Giovanni, but the whole team who supported them across the series.

I felt that I could 100% be myself because of this and for that I am eternally grateful.”
Rose went on to thank her interpreters, revealing she’s also in “awe” of everyone who works on the hit BBC show.
“Thank you to my team of interpreters who always put me first and made sure I understood everything at all times, they are such a beautiful group of women!” she wrote.
The star added, “Every person on Strictly works so hard to bring the show together and they are THE most creative people - costume, hair and makeup, choreography, props - every single individual gives it everything and I am in awe of how you managed it! I am truly going to miss it a lot.Thank you 💕“.
