'And Just Like That’ a new series of Sex and the City is rumoured to be hitting our screens after Sarah Jessica Parker posted a teaser to her Instagram account.

And Just Like That (a catchphrase from the original show) and will feature 10, half- hour episodes featuring Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York.

Sadly Kim Catrall, lovingly known for her character Samantha, will not be returning for the new series. She declined the offer to return to the show and fans suspect this is due to tensions between the co-stars, in particular, Sarah Jessica Parker.

A delighted fan commented on the teaser posted by Sarah Jessica Parker on Instagram, “ omg it’s happening. Something is happening. Imma miss Samantha but I’ll take anything right now.”

To which she replied “ Samantha isn't part of this story. But she will always be part of us. No matter where we are or what we do.”

The teaser trailer doesn’t give anything much away, it pans over shots of New York City with the words ‘Just like that’ is typed over the screen, followed by Parker’s narration of the words.

According to Variety, the stars of the show will be paid over $1 million dollars each per episode.

We can't wait to watch the latest series but will definitely miss Kim Catrall's sassy character.
