Naomi Campbell shares rare glimpse of daughter after Met Gala 2022

Naomi Campbell has shared a photo of her daughter watching the Met Gala 2022 on television, in a rare glimpse into the supermodel's recent motherhood. 

The British supermodel treated her Instagram followers to a surprise photo of her baby girl on Wednesday, as part of a series of snaps from her Met Gala 2022 appearance. 

Naomi can be seen posing in a bejeweled, black floor-length gown by Burberry—accompanied by a $6.6 million Jacob & Co. choker—in the first few images, which were taken on the red carpet and against a white backdrop. The stunning ensemble, credited to Riccardo Tisci, the Chief Creative Officer at Burberry, received glowing reviews from fans online—many of whom track the fashion icon daily for her unbeatable wardrobe updates. 

It was Naomi's final upload, however, that really set the comment section into overdrive. 

In the last photo, her one-year-old (whose name has not been made public) can be seen sitting in a navy high chair and watching her glamorous mother attend the New York City fundraiser on the television. 

Naomi became a mother for the first time at 50 last year, announcing the birth of her adorable daughter to the world in May 2021. She has since made a conscious effort to respect the little one's privacy, sharing minimal information about her with the public and ensuring that her full face is always hidden from the media's glare. 

The businesswoman hasn't completely deprived fans of updates, however. In September 2021, Naomi shared exciting details about her young child's temperament. 

"She is wonderful. She's so very independent already. Very smart, alert. Sleeps 12 hours. A good girl," she told BBC's HARDtalk's Zeinab Badawi. 

In February 2022, she graced the cover of British Vogue with her daughter, revealing the side of the newborn's face to readers. 

She also dispelled the rumors that her daughter was adopted, confirming in an interview with the fashion magazine that her relationship with the infant is biological. 

"She wasn't adopted—she's my child," Naomi said. "I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It's the best thing I've ever done."
