Michelle Obama shares 2020 workout playlist to give ‘extra boost’ for ‘tough’ New Year workouts

  • Michelle Obama has shared her go-to workout playlist to help fans through ‘tough’ New Year workouts.

    The former First Lady took to her social media accounts to reveal what she likes to listen to when she hits the gym.

    Sharing a snap of the list of 36 songs, Michelle offered up her favourite workout songs to give fans an ‘extra boost’ for tough workouts.

    It’s about that time when New Year’s goals and resolutions get just a bit harder to stick to,’ she wrote alongside her list.

    To offer a little inspiration, I want to share my go-to 2020 #WorkoutPlaylist with all of you. These songs always seem to give me that extra boost to get through my toughest workouts. What’s on your playlist?’.

    And fans were loving the bestselling author’s eclectic taste, with everything from nineties and noughties R’n’B classic likes Destiny’s Child, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys, to Jay-Z and Kanye West hip hop tunes and more current chart hits like Ed Sheeran, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars, John Legend and Sam Smith.

    There were even some rather surprising additions like Cardi B, Burna Boy and Kendrick Lamar…

    The TASTE really jumped out here!’ one fan commented on the post. ‘And THAT is one of the many reasons why you are FOREVER our First Lady, @michelleobama! 🥰’.

    ‘We will never have a better first lady 😆,’ agreed another, while one added, ‘Yasssssss👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!!! Fire list 🔥’.

    ‘Love theses choices 💪🏾,’ wrote another fan, ‘super inspiring 🔥’.

    And many appreciated that the former President’s wife listened to the clean versions of any explicit songs, commenting, ‘Come on CLEAN versions’, ‘I like the way you only listen to the clean versions 😂🤣😂🤣’ and ‘My clean queen’.

    The playlist was so popular that it is even already available on Spotify for fans to listen to while going into their 2020 workouts.
