If, like us, you were one of the 9.6 million people who tuned in to the sixth season of Line of Duty this past Sunday you'll know exactly how gripping the crime drama is, with its twisty plotlines and exemplary cast including Adrian Dunbar, Vicky McClure and Martin Compston.
But if you're new to the program or just want a quick recap on the last five seasons, there's a handy Line of Duty YouTube video titled 'All Line of Duty in six minutes' that serves up everything you need to know.

It's fair to say that not since Game of Thrones has there been such feverish anticipation for the return of a TV series. Hardly surprising in the light of months of lockdown 3.0.
Line of Duty focuses on the professional and personal lives of those in the AC-12 anti-corruption unit. It first aired in 2012 to critical acclaim and right now has become the savior of Sunday night TV.
But there's only one small gripe. The gap between filming and airing each season has in the past been anywhere up to two years so keeping track of the web of lies, deceit and general action has sometimes been a struggle.
Enter this video, which the BBC has posted to its YouTube channel. Like the Cliff Notes of Line of Duty, it tells you everything you need to know so you're well versed on the story so far and fully prepped for the latest plot twists.

Of which, there already seems to be many. Season six revolves around the unsolved murder of journalist Gail Vella, and the line between the good guys and the bad guys is already a murky affair. We're still left wondering, who is H? What is undercover officer DS Kate Fleming McClure) doing on the new task force? And what are we to make of the new officers Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson and Detective Constable Chloe Bishop?
Not to mention, what is a CHIS? (Spoiler alert, you'll find the answer to that question in our blow-by-blow account of Line of Duty season six).
