Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been working on repairing their relationship, according to reports, but that's not the only important work the pair have been doing of late.
The women undoubtedly share lots of things in common. Not only did they marry into the same family but they also feature on Vogue's 25 most Influential women list—owing to their common interests.
The list which is, "Celebrating the women shaping 2021 and beyond," includes the royal in-laws in recognition of their individual efforts to make the world a better place.
The publication obviously took into account the difficulties of the pandemic while acknowledging how some public figures used their clout to make a difference.
The Duchess of Cambridge became less known for her glam looks and public outings and used the time to work with various causes and charities. She launched, "major campaigns around early-years development," and continued, "her work trying to lift the stigma around discussing mental health." The magazine also acknowledged how the royal works to support, "those living with childhood trauma. A cause close to her and Prince William's heart.
Meanwhile, she's not the only member of the firm on the list as her famous sister-in-law has made it in too. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot back in 2018, with Meghan Markle's wedding dress and Harry's smart military uniform as they stood on the steps of St George's Chapel forever in fans' memories. Although the couple's Oprah interview in March caused serious waves, the Duchess of Sussex has managed to come out on top because of her incredible philanthropic work over the years.

Now she's no longer a working royal, "her sights are firmly set on making positive waves in public life." As well as her, "extensive philanthropy work," the publication also celebrates her media success. She's swept the boars with her, "Netflix and Spotify deals," and "children’s book," which are created with the intention of, "promoting equality."
Considering their shared love of making the world a better place and using their royal clout to make it so—it's no wonder that the pair feature on this list.
