'It's joyous': Richard and Judy celebrate happy family news
TV couple Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan have announced that they recently celebrated some lovely family news - the arrival of their third granddchild!
Judy shared the happy news in their Daily Express column, but went on to reveal that due to an airport delay, they were forced to miss the first few days with the new arrival.
Former TV veteran Judy shared that it was their son Jack, and girlfriend Issy, who were expecting.
She revealed how, weeks before Issy's due date, she and Richard jetted off on holiday to France - confident in the belief that they'd been back in time for the baby's arrival.
Judy confessed, "We'd been in France for less than a week, smugly thinking the baby would probably be late (as this was a first pregnancy and they usually are)."
However, it seems Jack's baby was keen to make an early appearance into the world - with Judy sharing how Issy actually went into labour just two days into her maternity leave.

The star wrote, "Poor Issy, just two days into her maternity leave, began having contractions in the middle of her baby shower.
"She ended the party in hospital and 24 hours later baby Kit was born in a birthing pool."
Former This Morning host Judy went on to reveal that Kit's early birth sent her and Richard into "panic stations" - and desperate to jet out of Nice as soon as possible.
But of course, it didn't all go to plan, with flight delays and strikes meaning they didn't arrive in the UK until the day after Kit was born.
"Delayed for hours we finally got to see little Kit Alexander Richard Madeley the following day - on Wednesday."
It seems the rush and panic was all worth it though, with Judy reflecting on her new-born grandson, and the rest of her grandchildren, in the column.

She said, "I know I'm a besotted and biased grandma but he is adorable"
"Three grandchildren now: Ivy (five); Edith (six months); and Kit, (five days). What a wonderful time this is."
However, she did confess that the expanding Madeley family has actually also left her feeling all of her 70 years.
Judy wrote, "I wrote earlier this year how strange it is when your family starts exploding and your little ones have babies of their own. It's joyous and great fun. But, dear God, it makes you feel your age."
With daughter Chloe Madeley's birthday on the horizon (13th July), and her upcoming wedding, it seems the family will continue to have cause to celebrate for a while yet!
