Jennifer Lopez and her child, Emme, bring fans to tears with emotional performance
Emme is taking after JLo as the pair teamed up for an emotional ballad
Jennifer Lopez is known as Jenny from the Block and now it would appear her child, Emme, can be called a chip off the old block.
The duo took to the stage together to perform a mix of songs at the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation's Blue Diamond Gala, held at Dodger Stadium on June 16.
Emme Maribel Muñiz – who JLo shares with ex Marc Anthony – joined their superstar mom for a sentimental duet of A Thousand Years by Christina Perri.

Back in February 2020, Jennifer spoke about Emme's "performance gene" after the then-11-year-old joined her mom onstage to perform at the Super Bowl LIV halftime show.
"She doesn't let it in her mind how big [the performance] is or how it scares you," Jennifer explained during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "That's what you have to do when you're up there, you know—you kind of have to [have] control. She has that gene, that gene of 'I'm comfortable up here...' I wish I felt more like her."
Jennifer added, "She has a good time with it and I would never make her do it if it ever made her uncomfortable in any way."
Emme joining their mom on stage featured heavily in the new Jennifer Lopez documentary, Halftime, now streaming on Netflix.
The documentary shows the hard work Jennifer put into the show, and how important it was for her to feature her daughter singing a message of love and acceptance during Donald Trump’s presidency, which saw Mexican immigrants held in cages.
Wearing an American flag coat that reversed into a Puerto Rican flag, JLo brought out Emme on the Super Bowl stage to sing a verse of Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA.
