Jennifer Lopez's elegant white shirt and flared jeans outfit proves this denim style is the most flattering
Spotted in Milan JLo's off-duty outfit proves this is the denim cut is worth shopping
Jennifer Lopez has been spotted at Milan Fashion Week events with several high-fashion looks, from a menswear-inspired suit at Dolce & Gabbana's spring/summer 2027 show to a black corseted gown at Vogue World. However, she made time for a spot of sightseeing on Sunday, wearing flared jeans and a tucked-in shirt – a look so simple, yet so chic.
If anyone can make such a straightforward formula feel special, it has to be JLo. Her white button-front shirt is tucked into her high-waisted denim, creating the perfect hourglass, whilst her flared light blue jeans elongate her legs. Flares are the denim style worth wearing this season. Although slim and barrel-leg designs remain key to the denim trends of 2026; flared jeans never date and are flattering on almost every body type.
Although this formula could easily be dressed down with simple flats or your most comfortable trainers, she opted for elevated peep-toe heels. On her arm was the Dolce & Gabbana My Sicily tote bag, and to finish off the look, she accessorised with square-framed sunglasses.
M&S is home to some of the most comfortable jeans, and this pair features added stretch. Perfect for styling with ruffled blouses, smart shirts and even knitwear, they are endlessly versatile.
A crisp white shirt tucked into jeans feels like a timeless combination, and it's never a bad idea to invest in quality cotton or poplin designs. You could also leave it loose over straight-leg denim for a more relaxed feel day-to-day. Try adding a leather belt for more waist definition, and swap the heels for ankle boots or your most comfortable trainers for a laid-back take.
