Gillian Anderson can make everyone laugh on camera but her Instagram feed is equally hilarious.

The 53-year-old posted a picture of a penis-shaped snow sculpture, alongside the caption, "My kinda (snow)man! #penisoftheday." Unsurprisingly, her followers found the whole thing hilarious—some even adding on to the joke.

"Sex Education season 4 inspiration?," a follower commented, referring to the hilarious Netflix comedy-drama that Gillian stars in.

"Probably not the best balls to have a snowball fight with," another user joked.

“Size matters,” yet another one wrote.

The photo was actually not taken by Gillian herself, who credits one Chris Volpe on Twitter for the find.

As fans of The Crown actor probably know, Gillian seems to have a "thing" for phallic symbols. In fact, back in September, she revealed that fashion brand Chloé had gifted her a large penis cake to celebrate her then-recent Emmy win for her role on The Crown. We assume that the dress she wore at the award ceremony, one decorated by tiny penis-shaped charms, inspired the gesture. Or, perhaps, the entire ordeal took a cue from Gillian’s sexually confident character in Sex Education. Either way, there was a clear theme being played out.

This is also not the first time that the actor has used the hashtag #penisoftheday on social media. In October, she posted the photo of a penis-shaped pear and captioned it, "pearfect," alongside the funny hashtag.

She used the phrase again in a just-as-hilarious post depicting a scene from nature in January of last year. Clearly, Gillian is funnier than we even knew!

As well as the new season of Sex Education—set to premiere some time this year—Gillian will star as Eleanor Roosevelt in The First Lady, a new American television anthology drama series that will land on Showtime later in 2022.

The much-anticipated production will feature an all-star cast. Viola Davis will play former First Lady Michelle Obama, O.T. Fagbenle will take on the role of Barack Obama, former First Lady Betty Ford will be played by Michelle Pfeiffer with Aaron Eckhart starring as her husband Gerald Ford. Kiefer Sutherland will play Franklin D. Roosevelt opposite Gillian. The cast is rounded out by Dakota Fanning, Judy Greer and Rhys Wakefield, among others.
