Dawn French has treated fans to a glimpse at her Christmas tree as the comedian gets in the festive spirit, one week before Christmas.

Dawn—who has been on our TV screens all week as a judge on Walk The Line—shared a picture of her Christmas tree featuring a look-a-alike bauble. The bauble featured in one of the best Christmas adverts of 2021, proving a huge hit with fans.

Alongside a picture of the fairy bauble, which looks surprisingly like her, Dawn, 64, wrote, “Someone just flew in my window & is hovering round my tree… @marksandspencer.”

Fans flocked to compliment the bauble and begged Marks and Spencer to release them.

“@marksandspencer please can you release these? We all want Dawn on our Christmas Trees,” one fan tweeted.

Another said, “I would love a Dawn fairy - I think you are pretty epic.”

Dawn French's big life lessons are inummerable—as a star of stage, screen, an author, mum and wife too. However, one of the things that she's always maintained is keeping her personal life as private as is humanly possible.

Dawn is careful not to share too much of her life online with fans after relocating to a lesser known part of the Cornish coast in a bid to live a more “low key” lifestyle.

An insider told the Mail Online, "Yes, Dawn is selling up, but she’s very much staying in Cornwall. She just wanted a change.

"Dawn is low-profile and private. The fact that Fowey has recently become cool and trendy isn’t what she finds appealing per se."

Having moved out of London 14 years ago because she found it "overwhelming" at times, it's no surprise Dawn has made this decision.

"It can get very busy now during summer. Dawn will always love Fowey and had 15 wonderful years living there. She will miss all the locals who made her feel so welcome.

Citing her reasons behind the decision to leave London in 2006, she told Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast she found city life too much.

There always seemed too much to do in London for Dawn. “I find the clutter of it overwhelming. I think I’m not meant for a city… that isn’t the real me. The real me is quiet.”

Whereas in Cornwall, feels calm. “There is, without a doubt, beauty here. I can do nothing but connect with that.

“It makes me calm, it makes me happier and it sort of enthuses my mind with better ways of thinking.”

Embracing natural beauty in every way, Dawn French shocked fans with a new grey hairstyle earlier this year—and we absolutely love it!
