I’ve always loved those brands that feel like old friends. The ones that have been in our kitchens for generations, quietly getting on with the job while we make the mess, the memories, and the meals. So, when I heard that Hoover, a name I’ve known and trusted for years, had launched a range of sleek new kitchen appliances, I was immediately intrigued. Could this much-loved heritage brand really be stepping into the world of modern era and design?

Spoiler alert: they absolutely have. The new collection doesn’t just look good in your kitchen it’s clever, practical, and designed to make everyday chores feel effortless. Whether you’re whipping up a midweek dinner, prepping for a big birthday brunch, or pouring cocktails in the garden with friends, these appliances are ready to impress.

And while they’re perfect for summer hosting (think sorbet-smooth smoothies, crisp salads, and speedy mains), I can already tell they’ll earn their keep all year long. I’ve been putting a few pieces from the collection under the heat, and I want them in my kitchen.

Hoover’s kitchen appliances: where style meets substance

What I love most about Hoover’s new appliances is how they blend form and function. They look beautiful, with soft finishes, sleek lines, modern silhouettes, but they are just as smart on the inside.

The new H-FRIDGE 700 MAXI is set to become my go-to for family life and hosting. It’s a four-door fridge freezer with a generous 463L capacity (that’s a lot of prosecco and strawberries), plus a built-in, non-plumbed water dispenser for effortless chilled drinks on sunny afternoons. The multi-door design keeps everything organised and easy to reach, so there’ll be no more digging through drawers to find that one lemon. And the no-frost technology is a true game-changer.

For slightly smaller households, the H-COMBI 500 is another standout. It holds up to 18 shopping bags' worth of groceries, has adaptive humidity zones to keep produce fresher for longer, and features panoramic natural lighting inside, so everything looks just as good on the shelf as it does on your table.

Turning up the heat on cooking with Hoover’s oven

When it comes to summer entertaining, the Collection 5 Oven has completely changed how I prep and serve meals. There’s no waiting around for it to preheat, so when friends pop over last minute, I can go from zero to crispy air-fried halloumi in minutes. It has specific settings for pizza, fish, bread, meat, and veg, meaning everything comes out exactly as it should: a godsend if you’re not super cheffy.

The AirFry function deserves its own round of applause. I’m already dreaming of the golden sweet potato wedges and crispy spicy chickpeas that I could whip up for sharing platters. It also comes with an AirFlow tray, which evenly distributes heat, so you won’t end up with food that’s burnt at the back and light at the front.

When hosting has been a success, but the washing up hasn’t been, there’s more good news. The H-Dish 700 Dishwasher (available in integrated or freestanding models) can work it’s magic on everything from burnt pans to your champagne glasses. It comes complete with a power wash (if you’ve left the dishes a little dirtier than planned), a clever motor that keeps the noise of cleaning to a minimum, and automatic door opening for letting out steam (and getting your dishes drier much quicker).

And because life doesn’t stop when summer ends, these appliances are built to keep up all year. From hearty autumn traybakes to festive drinks and Sunday roasts, the new Hoover range brings confidence and consistency to every cook and clean up.

What about Hoover’s energy efficiency?

We all know energy bills are on our minds more than ever and that’s why I was excited to see the brand-new H-COMBI 300 model. While the original version was E-rated, the latest launch is A-rated, making it far more energy efficient and kinder to your wallet in the long run. Despite its standard width, it has an extra-large 355L capacity and a Fresh 0°C zone, which is brilliant for storing meat, fish, or anything you want to stay extra crisp.

This new collection from Hoover feels like a love letter to modern home life. It’s stylish without being showy, innovative without being overwhelming, and packed with thoughtful touches that make every day a little easier. Whether you’re a keen cook, a busy parent, or just someone who loves a beautifully functional kitchen, this range is one to explore. And if you need one extra reason to refresh your home, you can use the code WOMANANDHOME10 to get 10% off your order.

So if you’ve been thinking about a little kitchen update, maybe in time for summer gatherings or just to make weeknights run more smoothly, I can’t recommend Hoover’s latest collection enough. It’s proof that great design never goes out of style, it just gets smarter.
