As a world-renowned style icon, the Duchess of Cambridge definitely has a few favourite go-to designers to help her dress for all of her royal engagements.
She’s expected to look polished and perfect at all times, and has two favourite designers that she regularly uses to assist her in doing just that – and they’re two brands that you may just recognise from the high street.
Catherine often relies on high-end high-street store L.K. Bennett, and luxury designer Preen, for her envied outfit choices.
She wears L.K. Bennett dresses on a regular basis when on royal engagements, opting for a blue-purple number when meeting former US President and First Lady, Barack and Michelle Obama, at Kensington Palace last year.
She’s also a big fan of their formal shift dresses, wearing them regularly – here on a visit to the Art Room in 2014.
Recently, she also turned head in an elegant and eye-catching red Preen dress, while on a visit in Poland…
And another, more subtle outfit choice, on a visit to the Natural History Museum in July this year…
So it was of course music to our ears when we heard the news that Preen and L.K. Bennett would be pairing up for a fashion range that includes both of their unique styles.
L.K. Bennett, like the Duchess, is known for being demure, subtle and sophisticated, while Preen is widely recognised for its bold colours.
So how do the two pair up? The labels have incorporated L.K Bennett’s delicate designs and floral prints with Preen’s brave colours, to create a stunning and vibrant range that, quite frankly, we’d give our right arm for.
