For fans of Spooks and Criminal Justice comes new crime court drama, Silk. Starring Maxine Peake (Criminal Justice), Rupert Penry-Jones (Spooks), Neil Stuke (Reggie Perrin), Natalie Dormer (The Tudors) and Tom Hughes (Sex, Drugs And Rock And Roll), this fast-paced new drama from the BBC is an insight into the hard pressured and difficult life of the criminal bar.

Written by former barrister and BAFTA award-winning writer, Peter Moffat, Silk promises to be an exciting view into life at the Bar: The ethical dilemmas, the impossible choices, the sex, the drinking and the blur between personal and professional life.

Follow Penry-Jones' and Peake's stuggle to make it as a QC as they are thrown in at the deep end, knowing only one can make the Bar. Who will it be? Maxine Peake as Martha Costello, whose beliefs are tested to the limit, or Clive Reader, played by Rupert Penry-Jones; the funny, gifted and
dangerous 'baby barrister'. Tune in tonight to see the story unfold.

Silk starts February 22 at 9pm on BBC one
