The Queen has been warned to 'pace herself' as her diary is taken under review by her royal aides so that Her Majesty can ensure attendance at certain events.

Royal sources have revealed that the Queen is going to be more selective about the royal engagements that she attends over the next few months ahead of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
A source told the Mail, that the "frailties that come with living a long life' are finally catching up with her," and the Queen now accepts that at the age of 95, she cannot be in attendance at every public engagement.
"The Queen is still as alert, able and interested as ever but, physically, she isn't as strong as she once was, which is entirely understandable for a woman of her age," the source added.
It was then revealed that members of the Queen's family will step in to cover royal engagements, as they understand the need for a royal presence at some events.
"The Royal Family understands the important role investitures play in recognizing service and celebrating people's contribution to society and there has been a real drive to catch up on the backlog created by Covid restrictions," added a source.
"The Prince of Wales, Princess Royal, and Duke of Cambridge have been leading the charge. It's easy to envisage that they will continue in that vein but I wouldn't rule out Her Majesty doing smaller or one-off investitures."
This wouldn't be the first time that royals have stepped in to cover for the Queen, as on various occasions when the Queen was unwell in 2021, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, and Prince William, all filled in for Her Majesty at engagements.
As well as being more selective about events, it was also reported recently that the Queen will miss the Commonwealth Day ceremony as she may find it ‘too taxing.’ Although she plans to miss this event, it is thought that the Queen will be in attendance at the Duke of Edinburgh's memorial service on March 29.
Buckingham Palace announced in February, "The Queen has agreed that a Service of Thanksgiving for the life of His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh will take place in the spring of 2022 at Westminster Abbey."
Although the Queen will be sure to attend this event, Prince Harry has 'snubbed the Queen' as it's confirmed he won't return to the UK for Prince Philip's memorial service.
