- This follows royal news that the Duchess of Cambridge is set to bring about big changes ahead of Prince William's coronation
Princess Michael of Kent, who is married to the Queen's first cousin Prince Michael of Kent, was diagnosed with coronavirus after her housekeeper "fell ill three weeks ago."
Her spokesperson Simon Astaire revealed that she has been unwell for nearly a month, and is isolating at Kensington Palace.
"She and her husband Prince Michael have remained in isolation at Kensington Palace ever since," he told The Sun on Sunday. "Prince Michael did not test positive."
An inside close to the couple added to the newspaper that the princess is "suffering from extreme fatigue and has terrible fevers."
The royal's coronavirus diagnosis follows that of Prince Charles, who announced in late March that he had tested positive for the disease after traveling to Birkhall, his Scottish home on the Balmoral estate.
Charles later opened up about recovering from the virus, expressing his gratitude that he made it through.
"It makes me even more determined to push and shout and prod. I was lucky in my case and got away with it quite lightly," he said.
"I’ve had it, and I can so understand what other people have gone through," he explained. "I feel particularly for those who have lost their loved ones and have been unable to be with them at the time."
His son and fellow heir to the throne Prince William then had the disease in April but did not make the news public until early November.
