Karen Hauer has shared incredible details of her stunning wedding day to her husband Jordan Wyn-Jones, revealing she wore her "fairytale dress" and why the pair surprised the world with news of their nuptials.
The Strictly Come Dancing pro, who was formerly married to ex co-star Kevin Clifton, shared the news that she and Jordan had tied the knot with her fans
Opening up on the big day, Karen admitted that she thinks the announcement that she and Jordan took the next step would leave some fans shocked, having kept the plans under wraps.
"I think people will be surprised by the news. Having recently been on tour with Strictly, I couldn't talk about the wedding out loud…it felt precious to have our little secret in our back pocket," she told Hello! magazine.
Karen was joined by her Strictly Come Dancing colleagues and close friends Janette Manrara and Luba Mushtuk on her wedding day, as she and Jordan said their "I dos" at Chewton Glen, a luxury retreat in the New Forest.
Speaking to the publication, Karen swooned over her the story of how she and Jordan became an item, recalling how they met on social media when she was in Australia last year.
"Jordan followed me on Instagram and I followed back – we would like and comment on each other's posts," Karen explained.
"Never did I think that I would find the love of my life on the other side of the world and that we would meet in such a unique way. But I wouldn't change it for the world."
Karen was bombarded with special messages of congratulations from fans and Strictly loved ones when she confirmed the wonderful news on social media.
"Love you both 😍❤️ here’s so more crazy crazy nights and happy memories," penned Oti Mabuse, who quit Strictly in February of this year.
"Congratulations guys ❤️❤️❤️," Dianne Buswell chipped in to say, while Nancy Xu commented to say, "CONGRATULATIONS K&J 💜💜💜💜💜😍😍😍😍😍😍."
