With Great British Bake Off 2021 in full swing and this year's Bake Off contestants leaving the tent one, finding out who left Bake Off and who has been made the star baker at the end of every episode has become one of the most important TV moments of the week.
But some viewers have been facing the pain of stumbling across Bake Off spoilers before they've even had a chance to tune in to watch the latest instalment of the ultimate battle of the bakes for themselves.
For loyal Great British Bake Off viewers in the UK, sitting back on a Tuesday evening to watch the likes of beloved contestant Jürgen Krauss tackle Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood's latest floury challenges is a joy provided by Channel 4.
Meanwhile, the official Great British Bake Off Twitter and Instagram accounts post live updates as the episode goes on, letting the internet know, almost instantly, who has been kicked out of the tent when Matt Baker and Noel Fielding announce it.
Unfortunately for those watching in the US, the latest Bake Off episode doesn't land on Netflix until a couple of days after it airs across the pond—but that doesn't stop those official social media accounts dishing out Bake Off spoilers, and American fans aren't happy about it.

Many have taken to Twitter to criticize Bake Off bosses for allowing Bake Off spoilers to be posted online as soon as the results are revealed in the UK, leaving trans-Atlantic viewers in danger of ruining the week's Great British Bake Off (named The Great British Baking Show in The States) for themselves if they set-thumb on their Twitter timelines and Instagram feeds.

Responding to a tweet outing the news that Maggie had left in week four, one irritated Bake Off fan penned, "SPOILER ALERT! Release ALL episodes in the US or zip it until the end! OMG!"

"Damn it! Now I have to Unfollow! No US spoilers! #NoUSSpoilers," another penned, vowing to remove the Bake Off Twitter account from their following list.
"It’s that time of year when I have to mute on social media to avoid spoilers until the episode is available in the US on Fridays," a third chipped in to add.

"Time to unfollow this account. Y’all don’t give us enough time before posting spoilers," a fourth wrote after hearing the news that Jairzeno had been voted out in week two.

"I had to unfollow since I keep seeing spoilers all week long and the US doesn’t get new episodes until Friday @BritishBakeOff," one more facing the same struggle posted.
"Okay we’ve reached that time where I get spoiled on #GBBO on here between when it airs in England vs when we get it on Netflix. I don’t like spoilers," wrote another.
