Eamonn Holmes reveals sad news for him and Ruth after dog Maggie has an accident

Eamonn Holmes has revealed sad news for him and wife Ruth.

Taking to his social media to share the sad updates with his fans, the This Morning presenter revealed his and wife Ruth Langsford’s dog Maggie was in the hospital for the second time this month.

Sharing an adorable snap of the Border Collie cross, which he and Ruth adopted back in 2011 after becoming besotted with her at a celebration for the tenth anniversary of the Uxbridge Dogs Trust Centre, Eamonn revealed that the family pet was back at the vet’s again.

Posting a snap for his 554,000 followers to see of the adorable pet staring up at him while waiting at the vet’s office, Eamonn wrote, ‘Honestly Mags , I don’t want to be here either.Waiting in the Vets Hospital. Looks like a dislocated shoulder. Poor Mags. 🐕’.

Fans couldn’t deal with Maggie’s cuteness, with the post raking up thousands of likes and hundreds of comments in just a few hours.

‘Poor Maggie, we all know how much you love the little angel,’ wrote one fan. ‘Best wishes and a speedy recovery to Maggie.’

‘Bless her!’ added another. ‘Atleast she has you and Ruth looking after her❤️ I hope she gets better soon! X’

Others commented, ‘Oh no .. poor Maggie 😢’, ‘🐶🤕🙏🏽 hope she gets better!!!’ ‘Oh no poor Maggie get better soon!☹️🐶🐾❤️xx’ and ‘Poor Maggie get well soon sweetheart ❤️’.

This comes just a week and a half after the star posted a picture of dog Maggie with a medical collar and cone around her neck and looking pretty upset and sorry for herself.

He captioned the adorable post, ‘Maggie has been to The Vet. She picked up a wound on one of her back legs. The Collar is to stop her licking it . Poor Girl 🐶🐕💕’.

Again the post got a big reaction from fans with comments including, ‘Ah bless her 💙💙’ and ‘Oh poor Maggie. Nothing worse than the cone of shame!! Hope she’s soon on the mend xx’.

Bless her!❤️,’ added another. ‘I bet she’s trying her hardest to get out of that?! Atleast she has you looking after her. X’.

Another wrote, ‘Get well soon Maggie no chasing the Hoover on Sunday then. I bet your Mummy is looking after you 🐶🐶’.
