Britney Spears has finally revealed why she loves to post nude photos of herself, telling her millions of social media followers the inspiration behind her au-natural snaps.
The US pop star took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the reason for her recent pattern of naked snaps—and we, for one, are all for it.
It's no secret that Britney, who is currently vacationing in French Polynesia with her fiancé, Sam Asghari, has added multiple nude photos (censored with diamond emojis) to her social media over the past several months.
The Toxic singer, 40, appears to be savoring her newfound freedom ever since she was freed from her conservatorship in November—and it looks like that includes ditching the constraints of clothing.
In the past two days, she has posted a total of eight naked images of her at the beach, as well as a short video of her playing topless in the white sand.
Her sensual photos echo the posts of Sam, who has also been sharing his island experience with the public on Instagram.
The 27-year-old personal trainer posted a clip of the besotted couple straddling in a pool on Monday, much to the excitement—and shock—of Britney's adoring fans. He captioned the video, which was accompanied by reggaeton music, "Island love 🏝 with the lioness @britneyspears."
The tropical updates come just a week after it was revealed that Britney is to write a book following the release of Jamie Lynn Spears' memoir, Things I Should Have Said. It's understood that the pop icon, who is currently embroiled in a bitter feud with her younger sister, has signed a lucrative deal with US publisher, Simon & Schuster. While the details of the speculated book remain unknown, it's been widely speculated that Britney will use the memoir to address the unflattering claims Jamie Lynn has made about her over the past few months.
For the time being, though, it looks like Britney is taking a well-deserved break from her work schedule.
"Alrightyyy then folks … showing my bod in French Polynesia as a rebel and free WOMAN !!!!!" she captioned her latest photo on Instagram—which, ironically, shows the Grammy-winner fully clothed.
Britney then explained why she has chosen to capitalize certain words over others, adding, "WILL DO BIG LETTERS CAUSE I THINK THAT MEANS IT’S IMPORTANT AND I DON’T WANT TO BE LEFT OUT …. SHOWING THINGS OF IMPORTANCE."
This is far from the first time that Britney has posed nude for social media. The mom of two shared several snaps of her birthday suit during her Pacific vacation last autumn, which she took to celebrate the end of her conservatorship. Since then, she has focused mainly on dancing videos—uploading regular clips of her practicing choreography from her home in Thousand Oaks, California.
