Britney Spears posted a series of naked pictures of herself on Instagram, using emojis to cover some parts of her body.

Although a number of her followers took to the comment section to celebrate the pop artist's ability to freely publish such images given the recent end of her much talked-about conservatorship, others expressed concern over Britney’s mental state.

"Someone who loves and cares about her [...] needs to help her," one user wrote. "This isn't normal at all."

"It's the odd juvenile wording of her posts with the pics that make it different. I'm surprised more people aren't concerned that her mental health is still very much in need of repair just based off of the rather immature, long posts with so much random punctuation marks and emojis," someone else commented. "It seems more like the happy ramblings of a teenager. Which is FINE, but maybe just a bit odd for a 40-year old grown woman. No one else sees this?"

Another user also commented on the photos, writing, "We love you Britney. Like from the bottom of our hearts. But, can you please stop doing this? This Instagram stuff is cheap and so beneath you. Please stop it."

"Britt u don't need to do this babe," yet another fan wrote matter of factly.

In total, Britney uploaded three series of almost identical pictures for her 41 million followers to gaze at. She captioned the first post, "Photo dump of the last time I was in Mexico BEFORE there was a baby inside me [...] why the heck do I look 10 years younger on vacation???"

The next caption reads, "Don’t underestimate the power of doing it myself and shooting with a selfie stick 🤳🏻 !!! Photo dump before there was a child 👶🏼 inside me 😜 !!!"

Finally, the last set of photos are accompanied by the words, "I love you all SSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO much 💋💋💋 !!!!"

Throughout the past few months, Britney has used Instagram to communicate directly with her followers—a move that has garnered praise given her previous lack of direct access to fans but has also gotten many worried about the pop star's mental state.

Back in mid-March, Britney actually vanished from Instagram after telling fans she wanted to be "feared."

Since returning to the platform, she has shared a photo of her wedding veil to the delight of her followers and has even confirmed her current pregnancy

Here’s to hoping that, although her latest posts do seem a bit out of touch, Britney is doing as well as she possibly could be.
