Although having moved on from her marriage to Simon Konecki, Adele recently admitted to feeling "f*****g devastated" by her divorce after realizing that she "no longer knew who she was."

The singer, whose one-night-only TV special with Oprah is set to air this Sunday, made the comments in a new Rolling Stones magazine cover story.

During the interview, the 33-year-old artist also discussed her current relationship with American sports agent Rich Paul. “I lasted five seconds [dating in Los Angeles]," she said, mentioning a slew of set-up attempts by her friends. "You can't set me up on a f*****g blind date! I'm like, 'How's that going to work? There will be paparazzi outside and someone will call DeuxMoi, or whatever it's f*****g called! It ain't happening.'"

The world has turned its collective attention back to the multiple Grammy award-winning singer after she announced the release of her much-anticipated third studio album, “30.” Although the first single off the album, Easy on Me (which many believe is eerily similar to her previous music videos), is already out, the album won’t be available until November 19.

Don’t get your hopes up, though—you likely won’t be seeing Adele live for quite some time. As she doesn’t plan on going on tour just yet. "It's too unpredictable, with all the rules and stuff," she said. "I don't want anyone coming to my show scared. And I don't want to get COVID-19."

Among Adele's further confessions are real estate-related revelations. The star, who bought herself and her son Angelo a new mansion in Beverly Hills for a reported $9.5 million back in 2016, has invested an additional $30 million in American real estate.

When discussing her new neighbors—Jennifer Lawrence and Nicole Richie, among others—Adele glorified the friendships she was able to develop with them.

"We never spoke about work, which was amazing, because most of the time when I catch up with someone, they want to know all about my work, and I’m like, 'I don’t want to talk about that. Can we talk about something else? I’m knackered,'" she said. "They humanized me because I had avoided talking to anyone that was ever famous in any capacity, because I was like, 'Well, I’m not famous.' I'm very British like that."

Speaking of fame, as the advent of her new record approaches, momentum is clearly building. Here’s to hoping that the singer—whose new tracks we’ve been ardently waiting for for quite some time—will soon change her mind about going on tour.
