After releasing his debut album, Let Them Talk, a collection of jazz and blues songs, Hugh Laurie has become known, not just as an actor, but a musician too. He has performed all over the world in Los Angeles, Hamburg, and Berlin, and was acclaimed for his appearance at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival too.
But if you missed him first time round, the good news is, with a successful album that reached the top ten charts last year, Laurie has announced another tour. Inspired by renowned jazz musicians and legends like Ry Cooder and Bone Burnett, it’s a must for any fans of the New Orleans sound.
Tickets go on sale later on this year with shows planned for the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 29 June, The Lowry, Salford on 1 July and, the Hammersmith Apollo, London on 2 July.
