Pasta salads are so easy and versatile to make and eat; whether you want a big dish for a buffet, a lunch idea that you can cook up in a big batch or a supper that you can throw together in a hurry, there are so many pasta salad recipes that can solve any eating dilemma.
This recipe uses classic ingredients to create an American inspired dish that is the ultimate comfort food. With creamy mustard and a light Italian dressing to make a tasty sauce, you’ll also fill this pasta dish up with other American classics like crunchy gherkins, punchy cherry tomatoes and salty pastrami. The flavours and textures really compliment each other to make this so much more than a simple pasta salad.
This recipe serves six, so it’s perfect to whip up if you’re feeding a crowd or wanting to make a big batch of lunches in one go.
What’s more, this dish needs hardly any cooking – it’s just a case of boiling the pasta until it’s ready and then mixing all the ingredients together. It can be served straight away while still warm or kept and served cold later.
