The one piece of advice Prince Philip could be giving amid the Oprah fall out
He'll have words to say on the matter...
Royal experts say Prince Philip would probably want to “bash some heads together” amid the ongoing fall out from the Oprah Winfrey interview.
- Russell Myers tells True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat that the Duke is “not one for any nonsense”
- He would want everyone to “settle down” following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shock claims about the family
- It follows royal news that Kate Middleton has released a stunning new photograph to reflect on the pandemic
The Duke of Edinburgh was in hospital during the height of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s shocking tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, following a heart operation. He has since returned to Windsor Castle after being discharged from the hospital.
But, now a royal expert has claimed that Prince Philip will be offering some sage advice to family members embroiled in a tit-for-tat situation, and telling them to “settle down and stop sniping”.
Speaking on True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat podcast, Daily Mirror’s Royal Editor, Russell Myers said, “[Prince Philip] probably wanted to bash some heads together I would imagine.
“He is not one for any nonsense. I'm sure his advice would be ‘everyone needs to settle down and stop sniping at each other’.”
It comes after Prince Harry claimed his own brother is “trapped” in the institution during his sit-down interview with Oprah.
He said, "I was trapped, but I didn't know I was trapped. Trapped within the system like the rest of the family.

“My father and my brother are trapped. They don't get to leave, and I have huge compassion for that."
The couple went on to claim that someone within the family questioned how dark Archie’s skin would be - forcing the Queen to launch her own investigation.

A statement from the Palace said, “The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
'The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
'Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much-loved family members.'
