Sophie Wessex stuns in elegant wrap dress from her go-to British brand at State Banquet
Sophie Wessex often opts for dresses from Suzannah London and looked elegant in a gorgeous teal number from the brand

Sophie Wessex looked elegant in a gorgeous wrap dress by one of her favorite British brands, Suzannah London, when she attended the first State Banquet of King Charles III's reign.
- King Charles III hosted the first State Banquet of his reign on behalf of the nation for the President of the Republic of South Africa.
- The King, Queen Camilla, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Edward and other royal family members gathered for the event, where the Countess of Wessex stunned in a teal wrap dress and shimmering tiara.
- In other royal news, Kate Middleton paid a hidden tribute to late Queen Elizabeth II with a sparkling bridal gown at the banquet.
Attending the prestigious event alongside her husband, Prince Edward, Sophie the Countess of Wessex opted to wear a gown from, Suzannah London, a label that we have seen her choose for various other royal appearances.
The timeless V-neck gown featuring flattering elbow-length sleeves was teamed with an aquamarine stone tiara, first worn by the Countess in 2005 to celebrate Prince Albert II of Monaco's enthronement.
Sophie also joined the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, and Queen Camilla in honoring Queen Elizabeth II by wearing a brooch displaying a portrait of the late monarch in the early years of her reign, along with a yellow Royal Family Order ribbon.
Sophie accessorized with shimmering silver earrings and a matching necklace, along with a sparkly Jimmy Choo clutch bag. The Countess proudly adorned her dress with the Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order sash.
Sophie also wore Suzannah London for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II earlier this year, choosing a custom-made embroidered black coat dress for the sombre occasion, which was watched by millions of mourners around the world.
The dress, made by the brand just for Sophie, featured a poignant Lily of the Valley detail as a nod to Queen Elizabeth II, who had the flower in her wedding bouquet when she married Prince Philip in 1947.

The brand confirmed that the piece was made specifically for the Countess to attend the state funeral in, sharing a statement that read, "An absolute honour and privilege to be given this opportunity to be a small part of modern history yesterday.
"Thank you to our dedicated team and all at @jennykingembroidery to enable the making of this beautiful coat dress design for HRH Countess of Wessex.
"Many beautiful panels of Italian wool and silk satin were embroidered as a tribute with Lily of the Valley - Her Majesty’s favourite flowers, intertwined with florals from her wedding bouquet."
Among plenty of other appearances when Suzannah London has proved to be Sophie's go-to, she also wore a pretty blue and white floral tea dress when she and Prince Edward visited the Caribbean in April 2022.
The Heart Leaves dress by the brand is 1930s inspired, made of pure silk and features a delicate floral print "inspired by the leaves on a Gingko tree".
