Queen’s heartbreak if Prince Harry misses ‘possibly the last big celebration’ she’ll have
Prince Harry’s attendance at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations is still uncertain…

The Queen could reportedly face the sadness of Prince Harry missing what has been described as “possibly the last big celebration” she’ll have by an expert.
- Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations will take place in June and it’s not yet known if her grandson Prince Harry will be returning for them.
- According to a royal expert it will be “sad” if he doesn’t as it could reportedly be one of the last major “celebrations” of his grandmother’s reign.
- This royal news comes as Princess Charlotte’s household ‘obsession’ that keeps Kate Middleton on her toes was revealed.
Despite expectations that he would be joining the extended Royal Family as they pay tribute to the late Duke of Edinburgh on March 29th, it was recently confirmed that Prince Harry won’t return to the UK to attend the memorial service. This has led some to criticise Prince Harry’s Europe trip for the Invictus Games weeks later, given he is flying so close to home.
Whilst it's also raised further questions about whether the Queen’s grandchild will be back for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee 2022 celebrations in June. With this still not yet known, royal experts have begun to consider the impact of the decision if Prince Harry chooses to forgo the Jubilee as well and remain in the US with his family.
And one expert even believes it could potentially be the “last big celebration” for Her Majesty, making it all the more heartbreaking if he doesn’t fly back.
According to OK! Magazine, Prince Charles’ former butler, Harold Grant discussed the speculation regarding Prince Harry’s attendance at the Jubilee celebrations. The royal expert also went on to express his opinion that it would be “sad” if Prince Harry doesn’t fly back for such a major milestone as he’s attended occasions such as the Golden and Diamond Jubilees in the past.
“The next question is will he then come over for the Jubilee celebrations,” Harold told the publication. "It's possibly the last big celebration that the Queen will have and he's been at every other one so is that going to mean he's not going to be at this final one as well? Which, from my point of view, I would find really sad.”
In light of this being a huge milestone in the Queen’s reign and given Prince Harry supported her at other jubilees, his absence could indeed be "really sad" for her if he remains in the US.

Harold continued, "Families have fall outs and disagreements, we've all been there, but with these kind of big events you want to be there to show support if you can be there.”
Meanwhile, royal biographer Tom Bower has previously alleged to Closer that Prince Harry might not wish to “face” the royals in the months before his new biography is published.
“I think Harry won’t come back because he knows he cannot face his family, and be pleasant with them, knowing what he’s written about them in that book,” he claimed, before predicting, “That book will have a lot of casualties and cause a lot of hurt.”
Described as a “wholly truthful” account of royal life, Prince Harry’s biography is set to be published by Penguin Random House in “late 2022”. Exactly what it contains remains unknown, though it’s been suggested that Prince Charles fears Prince Harry’s memoir might cause ‘reputational damage’ to Duchess Camilla.
Regardless of the revelations it makes, however, the matter of whether Prince Harry will attend the jubilee, either alone or with Meghan Markle and their children, is one that will likely continue to attract attention over the coming months.
