Princess Eugenie’s new baby is ‘imminent’ as sweet details are revealed
Baby news!
Pregnant Princess Eugenie is expected to give birth any day now - according to royal experts.
- Princess Eugenie of York is pregnant with her first child with husband Jack Brooksbank
- Experts say the arrival could be “days away” as bookies slash odds on the most popular names
- It follows royal news that Prince George may 'never be King'
Princess Eugenie could pay tribute to her grandfather, Prince Philip, when her first child is born in the coming weeks.
And the arrival could be expected sooner than we think. "Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's impending arrival is imminent, perhaps even days away,” royal expert, Chris Shipp, revealed.
Ladbrokes have released the top contenders for the name of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s royal baby - and Alice, the name of Prince Philip’s mother, is right up there.

Discussing the options were Chris Shipp and Lizzie Robinson on ITV Royal Rota’s podcast.
Chris said, "Grace is also popular, followed by Victoria, James, Arabella and Alice. Alice obviously is the name of the mother of Prince Philip, Princess Alice of Battenberg.

"It was also one of the daughters of Victoria and Albert."
Slightly ahead of Alice is Elizabeth - a nod to her Majesty the Queen - which has seen its odds slashed from 6/1 in the last few days.
“Currently the leading girls name is Elizabeth,” Chris explained. "The odds for that being the name of the newest royal baby have been slashed by Ladbrokes.”
The pregnant royal is currently living with her parents, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew, during the current UK lockdown.
According to royal biographer, Omid Scobie, the princess moved in with her parents at Christmas and is yet to leave their residence at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Scobie explained on his Heir Pod podcast that Eugenie and Jack had spent the festive period at her parent’s property in Windsor and added, “So I imagine that’s where they will remain until much later in the year.”
It is thought Princess Eugenie won’t accept a royal title for her baby, should the Queen offer one as a gift and the baby could miss out on this royal tradition.
According to Vanity Fair, an insider revealed that Eugenie, 30, and Jack, 34, wish for their child to live an "ordinary life" as far as possible. Meaning a royal title is not important to them.
"Eugenie knows that a title can be a curse as well as a blessing and she and Jack want their child to live an ordinary life and eventually work to earn a living," the insider explained.
