Princess Eugenie sends cousin Lady Gabriella Windsor sweet message after missing her royal wedding

Princess Eugenie

Lady Gabriella Windsor, daughter of the Queen's cousin Prince Michael, yesterday married Thomas Kingston at St. George's Chapel, Windsor, in the third royal wedding at the venue in a year.

The special event was attended by many senior members of the royal family, including the Queen, Prince Harry, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew, and Princess Beatrice.

However, one member of the York family was noticably missing from the festivities - Princess Eugenie, and her husband Jack Brooksbank.

It's been reported now that Eugenie and her husband were unable to attend the wedding as they were on holiday.

But the Princess made every effort to wish her cousin well on her big day, sharing an adorable message for Lady Gabriella on her Instagram page.

Posting a photo of the bride and her new husband, Eugenie sweetly wrote, 'Congratulations dear Ella and Tom!! ❤️👰🏼🤵🏼 You look absolutely stunning. 📷 @pa'

Many of Eugenie's fans commented on the post, sharing how special they too thought the day was.

One wrote, 'Lovely couple! Her dress is beautiful!', while another said, 'Congratulations 😊so beautiful 💕💕💕'

And a third commented, 'Another beautiful gown and the church at Windsor'.

Lady Gabriella's stunning lace wedding dress was designed by Luisa Beccaria, while her diamond tiara was also worn by her mother, HRH Princess Michael of Kent, on her wedding day.

On the post, many of Eugenie's 948,000 followers also revealed their hopes that her older sister, Princess Beatrice, would also be tying the knot soon, after she appeared with boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in tow at Lady Gabriella's wedding.

The pair are thought to have started dating last year, but this is one of the first public family occassions Edoardo has attended by Beatrice's side.

Royal fans were also left delighted after seeing Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson reunited at the Windsor wedding.

The couple have maintained a strong friendship since their divorce in the 90s, and looked delighted to be together with their family yesterday.
