Prince William was dubbed “naughty” by fans after his visit to the United Arab Emirates saw him get to experience the police’s “futuristic” mode of transport.
- The Duke of Cambridge paid a visit to the UAE on February 10th and one moment from the exciting day trip has captured fans’ imaginations.
- Fans joked the UAE police “should have let” him have a ride in their police car.
- This royal news comes as we reveal the Queen's divorce warning to Prince William, declaring 'enough is enough'.
Whilst he might not be the most hardworking royal of last year according to recent research, as a senior royal, the Duke of Cambridge is regularly kept very busy with engagements, events and international trips. His latest was undertaken solo and saw him visit a Dubai landmark opened by the Queen back in 1979. During this whirlwind trip in the UAE's 50th anniversary year, Prince William's packed schedule also included everything from visiting the picturesque Jubail Mangrove Park to seeing Earthshot Prize 2021 finalists.
Though the itinerary didn’t stop there and the Queen’s grandchild enjoyed the “futuristic” side of the UAE. Much to the delight of fans, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram and Twitter accounts posted a selection of stunning snaps from Prince William’s visit.
And whilst they all attracted praise, it was the photo featuring a UAE police car that really caught people’s attention…

Taken at night, the darkness made the astonishing police car all the more impressive with it’s sporty design and piercingly bright headlights. Prince William stood in front of the car, seemingly beaming behind his face mask. And his excitement and the UAE police’s mode of transport has plenty of other admirers.
“❤️ They should have let you have a ride. 🤣”, one fan joked on Instagram, as another expressed their belief that the UAE police likely would’ve let him have a go.
They commented, “I bet Prince William drove that car👏👏👏”, whilst another simply replied, “That police car is something else!”
A fourth person even thought Prince William looked “naughty” beside the sleek car as they wrote, “Gosh, you rock with that police car 🔥🔥!😍😍 Naughty Prince!”
“It’s like a futuristic police car 🤣”, someone else admitted. “I suppose the future is now.”
Prince William’s visit to the UAE might have been a whistle stop tour, but he certainly looks to have made the most of it. It came as Clarence House confirmed his father Prince Charles tested positive for Covid-19 for a second time. The Prince of Wales, who is the eldest of the Queen’s children, is now self-isolating and looking to reschedule his visit to Winchester “as soon as possible” after cancelling this trip.
