Meghan's mother Doria gives hint of royal wedding outfit as she flies into London

Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland has provided a hint at what she may be wearing on her daughter's wedding day on Saturday, after flying into London's Heathrow.

The 61-year-old, who Meghan is known to be very close to, left her Los Angeles home on Wednesday, to join her daughter and Prince Harry in London for the celebrations.

And perhapsthe most exciting detail of Doria Ragland's journey to the UK was a garment bag she was seen carrying. Eagle-eyed fans spotted that the mother-of-the-bride was carrying a Burberry bag - so could she be wearing the London-based designer to the royal wedding?

After all, daughter Meghan is already a keen fan of the brand, having worn one of their tartan coats to her first ever Scottish engagement, in Edinburgh.

Doria flew into Heathrow airport at lunchtime, and it's thought she'll be spending some time with the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Prince William and Catherine ahead of Saturday.

It seems Meghan and Harry were keen to ensure Doria got the best treatment possible during, and after, her 10-hour flight. She was whisked through security at Heathrow's VIP Windsor suite after landing in London. She was then met by Meghan's personal assistant, Amy Pickerill, and many of the royal security protection team.

It's thought that Doria was then taken straight to see her daughter and the Prince at Kensington Palace, after leaving in a Jaguar estate and accompanied by police cars.

However, of course it's possible that the Burberry bag is simply hiding another outfit by a different designer. Only time will tell, it seems...

Doria's arrival in the UK comes as speculation mounts that she will be the one to escort her daughter down the aisle on 19th May.

Meghan's father, Thomas Markle, has reportedly just undergone heart surgery, and so it's widely thought that he will be unable to attend the big day, and walk Meghan down the aisle.

In Harry and Meghan's engagement interview, the couple spoke openly about Doria, and how much time they had spent with her as Harry got to know his future mother-in-law.

Meghan said, "Once Harry was able to meet my mum, who we spend a lot of time with...", while Harry continued, "her mum is amazing".
